Usually, upgrades are sold at the expense of around 65% of a full purchase, while Software Assurance is priced at 30-55% of a full purchase for 1-3 years. This provides you with a discount on the next version of THE PRODUCT should it be released within your software assurance period.

Software Assurance can be purchased at any time as long as you own the latest 10.0 version of THE PRODUCT.

Priority Support

• Support reply time is guaranteed to be less than 48 hours, and is usually less than 24 hours
• Your emails are automatically highlighted by the email system and answered with the highest priority
• guaranteed reply time does not apply to weekends and company vacation (max four weeks a year)

AI Based Services

• AI based services are available exclusively to active Software Assurance users
• These advanced features enhance productivity and provide intelligent assistance for database operations

With Software Assurance

With Software Assurance, you may download & use every minor update and any new Major Version made available within your Software Assurance Period. For example, if you purchased 10.x, you can upgrade free of charge to 10.0.1, 10.1.1 and so forth.

In the above example, if version 11.0 is released within your Software Assurance Period, you would receive that major upgrade at no extra cost.

Without Software Assurance

Without Software Assurance, you may download and use every minor update made available for the purchased version, for example, if you purchased version 10.x, you could upgrade free of charge to 10.0.1, 10.1.1 and so forth.

To upgrade to the next major release (e.g., 11.0) requires the payment of an upgrade fee.
